Soundcrate is an interactive prototype that allows you to create and manipulate sound. The two built-in IR detectors and potentiometers constantly measure and collect data from the opening mechanisms. The collected data is sent to Processing, where the code for the sound manipulation is executed. With Soundcrate you can control Fm synthesis, granular synthesis and a low pass filter.
